Hello, Zuko here. I’m just shy of a year and am definitely still a puppy! I can be nervous initially when meeting new people, but with some cheese and patience you can win me over! I feel most comfortable in a home or my own yard especially, with my person. I am very smart just like other hounds, but have learned cues for sit, touch, down, look, leave it, and am working on trade and mat. I can get overly excited and bark when I see other dogs since I always want to play so we’re still working on my leash manners. I need a family that will be patient with me as I continue to learn how to be a dog, and who can be dedicated to keep up with mental and physical enrichment, as well as training for me as I need to keep my brain busy. I am super cute, love to play with everything and I do mean EVERYTHING, and once I know you I am a huge cuddle bug. I’d do best in a home without small dogs or cats, but if there’s a patient, bigger dog I can be their buddy or if you’d prefer to spoil just me I like that idea too!
Zuko is about 10 month old and weighs approximately 50 pounds.
The adoption donation for Zuko is $300.
