🍨 One yummy Sundae coming right up! An extremely versatile best friend who looks stunning in any situation! When we asked one of our marketing directors to please "remove the busy and messy background from this photo" we didn't realize we would receive all of these masterpieces. So funny we had to share!

Sundae is as special and amazing as his name implies. He is sweet, cuddly, and with a smile that melts your heart. Sundae enjoys the company of other kitties, but is also okay on his own. He primarily cares about human love and affection.  Sundae loves to play with toys, and roll around on the floor. He enjoys comfy beds to choose from, and will follow you around for treats. Sundae was born with some orthopedic differences in his hind limbs, so while he can walk, he does so in a different way than most cats. He is primarily a floor cat, as he is really not able to jump up on to things very easily, but enjoys being picked up so he can get to look out the window with supervision or snuggle up with some blankets on the couch. While we know he has some extra needs, he is so special we are sure someone will scoop him up soon!

Sundae's extra needs:

- He takes a joint supplement daily to keep his joints as healthy as possible. He is at a higher risk for early arthritis down the road as he ages, so this will need to be monitored.

- He primarily eats wet food, and this is best for supporting his GI system. Due to the way his bones and joints are positioned, he has a difficult time coordinating and getting into position to potty, and only does once or twice a day. He is also supported with miralax as needed and probiotic supplements. Keeping his stool soft greatly helps him!

- Speaking of pottying, Sundae is fully continent, meaning he has control of his bowel and bladder. He also ALWAYS goes to the litter box. However, because he does his business from a standing position, it needs to have high sides. Sometimes depending how he's standing or how much litter is in the box, it goes over the top of his current box, so keeping the boxes on top of potty pads or a waterproof mat/hard and cleanable floor is ideal. He REALLY tries his best!! The hard part is also him being able to get in and out of the box, so it can't be too high. This is something to experiment with to see what will work best for him long term.

The adoption donation for Sundae is $100.00.
